Research Background:

Amin’s research interests encompass the design and fabrication of polymer thin films; thermally resistant and mechanically stable composite coatings; surface modifications of coatings; and the synthesis of green polymers from natural resources using new technologies and methods such as ionic liquids and microwave irradiation.

Current Research:

Exploring the structural and functional diversity of Photoactive Crystalline Porous Organic Polymers (PCPOP) and Covalent Organic Frameworks (COF) and their application for water remediation and purification, and toxic gas and temperature sensing.
