Research Background:

As an undergraduate researcher in University of Wisconsin Madison, her project involved plant based yogurt and its bioavailability within the gut cell and its other available functions such as an inhibition on recombinant human angiotensin converting enzyme 2(rhACE2) activity. IFT first 2022 poster presentation topic: Extracts of plant-based yogurts inhibit recombinant human angiotensin converting enzyme 2(rhACE2) activity.

Current Research:

Enhancing thermostability of enzymes using microencapsulation through electrostatic complex coacervation.
